1st International CILS4EU User Conference

The Children of Immigrants Longitudinal Survey in Four European Countries (CILS4EU) provides a unique data source to study integration processes among immigrant adolescents in England, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden. Given the survey’s broad scope, CILS4EU-data comprise a wide array of information on different aspects of the cognitive-cultural (e.g., language skills and usage), structural (e.g., educational and occupational success), social (e.g., friendship formation or partner choices) and emotional-cultural dimension of integration (e.g., religion or identity). So far, data from three waves are available to the scientific community at the GESIS Data Archive for the Social Sciences. With the data becoming more and more popular, the 1^st CILS4EU User Conference offers users the opportunity to present their current research based on CILS4EU-data (completed or ongoing), to share their experiences, and to get into contact with the international CILS4EU-team.
