Gast am MZES: Andrey Tibajev

Andrey Tibajev is currently in the autumn of 2017 a guest PhD student at MZES. Andrey Tibajev received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Stockholm University in 2013. He has also studied sociology and worked as a research assistant for two years on the Level-of-Living Survey for Foreign Born and their Children project at the Swedish Institute for Social Research, Stockholm University. He is currently a PhD student in Ethnic and Migration Studies at Linköping University. The topic of his dissertation is the labour market integration of immigrants in Sweden. Specifically, what roll country specific human capital has in facilitating integration, how knowledge and skills from the country of origin is valued on the labour market of the host society, and how to better measure both human capital and the mechanisms that convert skills into labour market results.
