Joshua Hellyer neuer wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter
Since September 2021, Joshua Hellyer has been working as a researcher in Research Department A in the DFG-funded project "Pretty Integrated? The Causes and Consequences of Immigrants’ Physical Attractiveness on Integration Outcomes." Along with project director Dr. Johanna Gereke, he is studying the link between immigrants' perceived physical attractiveness and their economic integration in the German context.
Joshua Hellyer previously studied urban planning at Iowa State University (USA) and sociology in Mannheim. In his master's thesis, he conducted a correspondence study examining rates of rental housing discrimination against same-sex couples in rural and urban areas in the United States.
