Neuer wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter: Felix Münchow
Felix Münchow is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Social and Behavioral Sciences (CDSS) and since August 2022 a Research Associate in the SecEUrity-project, research dept. B (Prof. Schoen).
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and German Studies from the Leibniz University Hannover and a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of Mannheim. During his studies, Felix worked as a research assistant at the Leibniz University Hannover, the Collaborative Research Center 884 as well as the Chair for European Politics at the University of Mannheim.
His current research revolves around political behavior and attitude formation with a special focus on the dynamics of intergroup relations, norms, and memory culture. Major applications include research on prejudice and outgroup hostility, the circumstances under which these are expressed as well as the long-term imprint of history on identities and attitudes. Methodologically, he is interested in survey research, quantitative text analysis and causal inference using both experimental and quasi-experimental designs.
