Prof. Rune Stubager Gast am MZES

Since September 2021, Prof. Rune Stubager has been working as a guest researcher at the MZES, research department B, until July 2022.

Rune Stubager holds an MA in Political Science from Aarhus University and Essex University and a PhD in Political Science from Aarhus University, where he is tenured as professor of Political Science. His research interests revolve around political behaviour, with a particular emphasis on electoral behaviour, and he is one of the principal investigators of the Danish National Election Study (the most recent international publication can be found here https://www.press.umich.edu/10031769/danish_voter). His current work focuses on the subjective meaning and continuing political importance of social class to citizens of advanced democracies – e.g. through social classes functioning as objects of identification and/or social reference.
