Rosa M. Navarrete neue wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin seit Januar 2014

Seit Januar 2014 ist Rosa M. Navarrete am MZES als Mitarbeiterin im Projekt B2.1 „The True European Voter" unter Leitung von Hermann Schmitt tätig.

Rosa M. Navarrete holds a Bachelor's Degree in History from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2010 she received a Master's Degree in Democracy and Government (MA) from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Currently she is PhD student at the  Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences (GESS) of the University of Mannheim.
Rosa gained research experience while working as a researcher in Political Science at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid and due to a competitive scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Education. She has been a visiting student at the University of Essex. She has worked as a researcher for the project  "Los efectos de la crisis económica para la democracia española: legitimidad, satisfacción y desafección" funded by the Spanish Centre for Sociological Research (www.cis.es). She is a member of the COST Action The True European Voter preparing the harmonization of the Spanish data.
In 2012 she was elected as member of the ECPR Graduate Student Network Committee (http://standinggroups.ecpr.eu/gsn/). Her research interests are left-right ideology, its impact on voting behavior and its relationship with attitudes towards democracy in Europe.
