Alexander Scherf new scientific staff member since September 2013

The MZES welcomes Alexander Scherf as a new researcher of dept. A in the project A3.9 "The Effect of 'Surplus' Men on Xenophobia: Panel Data from the Neue Bundesländer" (director: Prof. Thomas Gautschi). You'll find him in room A-113 (please dial 2819).

Alexander Scherf holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Statistics (B.A.) from the University of Konstanz and a Master's Degree in Sociology (M.A.) from the University of Mannheim. After working as a student research assistant at the Chair in Statistics and Methodology of Social Sciences of Prof. Dr. Joseph Brüderl, he has been a teaching assistant at the Chair in Methods of Empirical Social Research since August 2012.
