Bojanovsky Dissertation Award for MZES Postdoc Fellow Martin Neugebauer

The council of the Prof. Dr. Anna and Prof. Dr. Jörg Jiri Bojanovsky Foundation has presented the 2014 Bojanovsky Dissertation Award to MZES Postdoc Fellow Martin Neugebauer for his thesis "Kommt es auf den Lehrer an? Empirische Studien zur Selektion in das Lehramt und zu Lehrereffekten bei der Entstehung ungleicher Bildungschancen".

Martin Neugebauer's dissertation deals with the effects that teachers might have on students' unequal educational opportunities. The Bojanovsky Foundation supports the empirical research of young scientists in the field of social, inter-individual, or cultural processes. The prize money is 1,250 Euro.
