Lars Leszczensky and Sebastian Pink honored for their research on social networks

Lars Leszczensky and Sebastian Pink have been granted the German Society for Sociology's young scholar award for sociological research on networks in recognition of their article "Ethnic segregation of friendship networks in school: Testing a rational-choice argument of differences in ethnic homophily between classroom- and grade-level networks". The award was presented at the conference of the section for sociological research on networks that took place October 5 and 6, 2015, in Cologne. The prize money is 250 Euro.
