New Postdoc Fellow: Dr. Alejandro Ecker

Alejandro Ecker has been working as a postdoc fellow at the MZES in the Research Department B since September 2016. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Vienna where he worked in a comparative research project on “Parties and Coalitions in Central Eastern Europe” (PI: Prof. Wolfgang C. Müller) at the Department of Government. In his dissertation, he explores the role of political parties in government formation and government termination in Europe. He will be working on party competition, coalition politics and political representation at the MZES.
