Professor Annelies Blom appointed to the Supervisory Board of The Netherlands Institute for Social Research
The Dutch Minister for Health, Welfare and Sport has appointed Prof. Dr. Annelies Blom as a member of the Supervisory Board of The Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP) for the period 2017-2021. SCP is a government agency which conducts research into the social aspects of all areas of government policy. The main fields studied are health, welfare, social security, the labour market and education, with a particular focus on the interfaces between these fields. The Supervisory Board has an important supervisory and advisory remit and advises on the Research Programme. It also monitors the scientific standard and social relevance of the work carried out by SCP.
