History of Family Law in Western Europe

Research question/goal: 

The project aims : 1. to give a systematic comparative description of family law developments in Germany, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, England, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Portugal and Italy over the last two centuries, 2. to explain both the general tendencies all these family laws have had in common and the differences between national developments.
