The Foundations of the European Security System in the 1990s (Euro-Sipla '90)
The "Euro-Sipla '90" project aimed at contributing to the early recognition of structural aspects, as well as the acceptability, of a European security policy in the 1990s. The priority was first to empirically establish what the perceptions of the relevant functional elites in both halves of Germany were. The goal was to obtain information in the context of reconfiguring European security structures, and to make visible what the framing conditions were for future European defense and security planning. In this brief pilot project, it was possible to carry out all the methodological elements and steps of the SIPLA research method.
