The Role of New ICTs in the German Federal Election of 2002

Research question/goal: 

What role does the internet play in the German general election 2002? How do parties and candidates make use of the internet in their constituencies? Do parties primarily focus on top-down information or are they emphasizing a dialogue between citizens and parties? The study aims at presenting similarities and differences of the parties' internet performance and link these findings with party research.
