Some usage tips:
- Capitalization is not significant. Umlauts are allowed.
- Author names are automatically right-truncated (be sure to include initial parts
of the name like van or Babka).
- All other fields are right- and left-truncated.
- Wildcard search (* or ?) is not allowed.
- Fields such as editor, title ed. vol., title series, journal, and conference are valid
only for certain publication types. Only categories with matching fields are searched.
- Using the "latest publications" or "forthcoming" link in the right frame,
no other restrictions are taken into account. A combined search can only be done in the detailed
search above.
- The URL-type field contains the type of full text document (e.g. pdf or html).
MZES working-papers are always in pdf-format and do not have this field. For this reason a search
for pdf-documents will not contain MZES working-papers.
