Description:
Crucial transition points within a student’s educational career require a decision regarding a specific educational track. We ask how structural factors (e.g. institutional setting of the educational system) interact with individual factors (e.g. personal abilities, social and cultural resources, access to information and support as well as values and attitudes) and result in different educational decisions. Our focus in both countries is on key transition points in the educational systems.
