Barbara Felderer (GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences) will give a presentation (in person) on

Nonresponse (bias) in the recruitment of self-administered panel surveys

Nonresponse is a major challenge in the recruitment of self-administered probability-based panels. In order to derive precise and accurate results from the survey, it is necessary that enough people participate and that the participants represent the target population well. The presentation discusses methods of nonresponse bias analysis and shows results for the German Internet Panel and GESIS Panel.
