New postdoctoral researcher: Dr. Andreas Landmann

Dr. Andreas Landmann is a postdoctoral researcher at the MZES in the project "Poverty, Ill-Health and Health Insurance in Pakistan" (A2.12) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Markus Frölich since January 2016.

Andreas Landmann studied economics at the University of Mannheim and the University of Toronto. He also studied at the Center for Doctoral Studies in Economics of the University of Mannheim since 2008 and obtained his PhD in 2013. Afterwards, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University's Collaborative Research Center 884. His research focusses on insurance and prosocial behavior in developing countries. He regularly conducts behavioral and field experiments (RCT) for his research, for example in the Philippines, Vietnam, China and Pakistan.
