New scientific staff member: Sophia Piesch

In April 2023, Sophia Piesch started working as a research associate in the project A2.2208 “Utilizing the Potentials of Twin Studies to Improve Our Understanding of Satisficing Response Behaviour in Surveys” in Research Department A under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Florian Keusch.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Mannheim and a master’s degree in sociology and social research from the University of Cologne. During her studies, Sophia worked as a student assistant at GESIS – Leibniz Institute for the Social Sciences at the Department Data Services for the Social Sciences (DSS). Before joining the MZES, she was part of the data management unit of the German twin study TwinLife.
