Vote for Pope - an online experiment
The visitor of the multilingual website http://voteforpope.net/ is invited to imagine how he or she would vote if the Pope, the State leader of the Vatican and the leader of the Catholic Church, was elected through one of four different electoral systems. The interactive part of the website allows to cast a vote under each electoral system. The webpages also provide information concerning the main candidates to the succession of Benedict XVI.
The online experiment Vote for Pope is conducted in cooperation with MZES research project B2.11 Making Electoral Democracy Work. Project director Thomas Gschwend explaines the experiment in an interview with Deutschlandradio Kultur (in German).
