Since January 2022, Dr Bernhard Ebbinghaus is Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences at University of Mannheim, Germany. After five years at University of Oxford, he returned to the Chair of Macrosociology that he held since 2004. He was from 2017 to 2021 Professor of Social Policy (2017-2020 also Head of Department) at the Department of Social Policy and Intervention and Senior Research Fellow, Green Templeton College at University of Oxford..
