  • EU studies: the formation of a Europeanwide cleavage constellation and party system. Diverse conceptions of European integration between party families
  • Regionalism: the territorial structure of Europe, local goverment, cartography

Profile/Career

Ph.D from the EUI in 1997, Bachelor and Masters in Political Science from the University of Geneva in 1991 / 1993. He taught in Berne, Florence, and Geneva. In 2000-02 he was Vincent Wright Fellow in Comparative Politics at the Robert Schuman Centre
