Horodenko, Lesia
In July 2025, Lesia Horodenko will join the MZES as a team member of the project “Responsible Terrorism Coverage – Part 2”, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). Over the past year, she worked as an independent researcher at the Institute for Media and Communication Studies (University of Mannheim). Prior to that, she held a professorship at the Department of Social Communications of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Journalism (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv, Ukraine). Her research has been published in peer-reviewed academic journals such as Amazonia Investiga, Business Perspectives, Current Issues of Mass Communication, Journal of Legal, Ethical and Regulatory Issues, Scientific Notes of the Institute of Journalism, among others.
