Sarah Perry, M.A. (geb. Odrakiewicz)
Profile/Career
Sarah Perry (nee Odrakiewicz) has been a research associate at the MZES, Department B, in the project 'Citizen and Democracy in Baden-Württemberg' under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Schmitt-Beck and Prof. Dr. Jan van Deth since December 2013. On behalf of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation she is investigating the quality of democracy in the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg with a team of researchers from all over the state.
After completing business administration training she was a bachelor student of Political Science (major) and Educational Science (minor) at the University of Mannheim from 2008 until 2011. Right after, she started graduate school at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA, where she stayed from 2011 to 2012. Then completing her studies at the University of Mannheim, where she earned a Master of Arts in Political Science with her thesis titled „Capitalism is not Democracy. An Evolutionary Approach on Capitalist Influence on Democracy“ in June 2013.
